Fall Football Roundup October 7, 2003

After four games the Vikings are 3-1, there only loss coming in a real close game with Manchester, 12-7. So far we beat Whittier Tech and two large division Mayflower league schools, Southeastern and Bristol Plymouth. We are preparing to go over to Nantucket this coming weekend and hope to end the drought that they have tossed at us the past 9 years. Playing very well for the Vikings are the three captains, Corey Nicotera, Pete Barrows and Brian Fienstein, also doing well are Jesse Delgado, Jim Seaton and Little Doc Glienewciz. Matt Taylor and Big Ben Feely have been the standouts on the line Matt on defense while Ben has been doing the job opening holes for the offense. The kicking game is also doing well, with Pete Barrows and Sean Rockwood handling the returns. Pete has one kickoff returned for a touch down. Brian handles the kick offs and has done a great job. We play Blue Hills next week and after that its the start of our league games. Remember that the Thanksgiving Game is home this year and starts at 10 AM.
